The Story

Welcome to the Armored Forge. It isn’t the average or ordinary forge. This one-of-a-kind facility is not unlike a small manufactory. Technology is brimming within its walls after years of dedication. It may be a niche skillset, but for those who seek more advanced hardware and software, it’s there.Located within Thanalan the arid climate safeguards the building and its copious amounts of raw materials. That isn’t to say it was always there, no it sees light partly in the determination and craftsmanship that’s built a quiet place for more personal reasons. The search for a purpose could never truly have a happy ending for the individual who pours hours of the day into creating fantastical machines.

Like any true machinist, forge master, and even an engineer, dedicating time to study and practice has yielded a formidable array of expertise. A vast majority of the work however is in line with that of the shipwright. Whether by sea or air, building a ship is nothing to scoff at. Neither is arming them for the sake of protecting the shipments that move across the star.Ishgard, The Grand Companies, and other larger organizations always seek the employ of those who are capable of their vessels upkeep. While the proprietor of the facility isn’t based on any ship, the Armored Forge acts as a hub. In a way, it's a central base of operations, however small. Its sister facility is much larger and requires trust, to even hear of it.Should you need new equipment, weapons, armor, machine work, and other more advanced equipment, look to an outcropping near Vesper Bay.

The Rules

1. First and foremost this is an SFW roleplay scene, however, NSFW conversation may arise. This mainly concerns tough topics, such as weaponry, violence, etc. (Not the other stuff..Just be aware and considerate.)2. Next on the agenda is of course interactions. Please, please, interact. I understand there are hesitancies, anxieties, and whatnot but I highly encourage players to interact. Especially here. It’s a must. There’s currently only one mechanic working the place. So not everyone can be seen or gotten to. (I just want everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves. It's an open scene for all to enjoy!)3. By entering this facility, it’s agreed that anything can happen. Suffice it to say, should there be any altercations, prepare for consequences. The individual who runs this Garage is not the average or ordinary Mechanic. There is history, time, money, research, and resources that have gone into building the place. If she can build it, she can defend it.

3. Weapons may be visible here. This isn’t your everyday eatery or hang-out. Draw them and the building's defenses will provide a warning. Just one. Failure to comply will result in painful realizations. Play nice, this Viera works hard. Make an ally of her, not an enemy. I’d say the same for patronage but hey, not everyone has to get along!4. The last one, no gil or items will be exchanged. The principle behind this venue is a means to provide customized equipment. This means that every request will receive documentation that contains vital details about the order received. The more detail the Rava gets, the better the documents are. If it's vague, so shall be the proof of purchase. These things are for character development and personal records. Any glam may be used. (Yes, it's all designed on research material and information provided. For those that use dice, a section will be added to offer bonus stats to certain criteria.)
